Hope for America - It’s a Matter of Trust

As Americans, all of us need to be cognizant of the fact we’ve been living far beyond our means for some time. Borrowing money through an illegal central banking system which is privately owned is bound to cause blowback - and now consequences for our future as a free society are staring us right in the face.

It’s why the money-masters-that-be are steering us towards giving up our sovereignty. As a matter of fact, why would anyone trust our lives to those who would enslave us?

Among all the candidates, from either side of the aisle, only Ron Paul has been prescient enough to see this train wreck coming…

… And one would have to be half-blind or foolish to not see it clearly by now.

Republicans… conservatives… Democrats… liberals… all Americans… must finally come to our senses… and realize we’ve been had. Far beyond this trumped-up war in Iraq – as Dr. Paul has publicly stated, “for commercial interests” – is the realization that our wastefulness of precious finite resources has gotten too far out of hand. Our freedom – yours and mine – or lack of it… has a direct corollary… in the amount of government… and the amount of debt… we assume to be risk-free… of what we accept as “customary and usual.”

What continues to be unsaid enough is that our arrogance and lack of principle as a nation has led us to this dangerous spot we’re in – the out-of-control Neo-Con-Artists merely facilitated our greed and wasteful ways by sucking up to the Fed… and the war profiteers… one more time too many… for most of us to bear this fiat empire much longer.

One week the Fed is bailing out Wall Street for their profligate spending and misguided exuberance; and the next, our leaders are asking them to bail out Main Street too.

But in each instance… the very existence of the Fed… has caused us to lose our liberties… and our collective soul.

In a world where we cannot be sure we can even trust our own abilities to think with precision and clarity anymore… Dr. Paul would have to be the one sane consensus candidate we should rally around… as our next new President.

The Christians might say we need a come to Jesus meeting. The discontented among us might say we need a spiritual awakening. But our economy is in shambles… and we need a way out… from our own dependencies - if not from our own self-delusion, besides.

Who’s to say the world - in a truly freed free market economy - would still not have access to Iraqi, Iranian, Venezuelan and other oilfields if we did not presume them to be wholly owned by American and British petroleum companies? Who’s to say the famed American willingness to operate on a level playing field… to unleash her entrepreneurial drive for innovation and invention… cannot correct our energy course… as a freed unified people?

Only our money masters and their multi-national corporatist clients dare to say it ain’t so – that’s who!

And Ron Paul really does represent “hope for America” – though he’s no Dr. Feelgood either.

But is he also the LAST hope too, as well?

Trust is indeed a useful word to attach to our thinking, to be sure – especially now, when we need it the most.

Student tasered for asking Kerry a question

As if we did not already have enough reasons to support Ron Paul.

Yesterday, on Constitution Day, a student asked John Kerry about Skull and Bones and why he conceded the election. The police then moved in on him, tried to arrest him, and then tasered him and hauled him off. All for exercising his first amendment right on constitution day. If anyone you know has thought about Ron Paul but just is not sure, send them this video.

Look at the crowd. See how docile they are. Who will protect them when it is their turn to be hauled off for a thought crime? It is our duty as Americans to see that this never happens again.

If this can happen on constitution day at a college campus, where can it not happen?

Reading the GOP Tea Leaves

by Lark

In reading the tea leaves relevant to the survival and self-preservation of the Grand Old Party one must see beyond the divisions which have separated the various schools of thought within it.

As it pertains to the things which matter most to me in life - health, love, freedom, happiness, legacy & fulfillment - I can’t help but be motivated to find some truth in this discussion.

Others say these things in ways which are most economical for me expound upon - without sacrificing my own independent spirit and freedom of thought - so that I’m able to ergonomically traverse other, more bountiful, streams of consciousness.

My hopes and aspirations for the future have forced my active participation in this presidential election process. Never in my wildest fantasies did I imagine I’d ever be supporting a Republican (never mind a Democrat), much less providing real-world boots-on-the-ground support for one of them.

Change is an interesting phenomenon, to be sure.

If the house in which one dwells develops a roof leak… well, let’s just say… that between the miasma of his tortured reading of tea leaves… and phantasmagorical wanderlust… partaking in flights of fancy… mixed in with occasional lapses of memory… and amidst recurrent nips of reality bites… a man soon has choices to make… which simply cannot be put off to another day.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we lived in a world where tea leaf-reading could be accompanied by civil conversation as well? And what if the Golden Rule was the only rule anyone could possibly… hold to memory… or to heart?

I could live with that. Couldn’t you?

So relax, and take a load off this Sunday. Welcome in some new friends to your life, love up on somebody, or kick-start your week by renewing your faith in the future.

Take in some good reading - it does a body good.

Dallas 1160 AM: Conservative Radio? Or the Banality of Evil?

by Lark

“The Banality of Evil is a phrase coined in 1963 by Hannah Arendt in her work Eichmann in Jerusalem. It describes the thesis that the great evils in history generally, and the Holocaust in particular, were not executed by fanatics or sociopaths but rather by ordinary people who accepted the premises of their state and therefore participated with the view that their actions were normal.” (Wiki)

Steve… After the first Democrat caller’s “nastiness” I was reluctant to strike a mean tone before your friends. But the second part of my question – regarding the oil revenue-sharing agreements… and the immoral use of force to make the central government factions within it… to sign what they clearly are in big disagreement about – was ignored.

They went to commercial, and you were on deck to address it when they skipped to another caller before Chad. I particularly wanted to hear you address the loss of conservative principles in the party I had alluded to with my mention of Reagan; and, of course, I wanted to make the case (with an interjection) that the oil deal is a real bone of contention for why the government is not coalescing – and it’s simply a subject not broached in the MSM (“No freedom-loving people would accept such a deal…”).

But, I agree the support comments/questions from Chad and Jeremy were very astute – as was your input, especially – for all those who were listening in.

Sadly, I was unimpressed with the ladies (who I’m sure are very nice) spouting their talking points as if by rote (learned from their days in the Junior League, no doubt), in support of Mr. Hunter and Mr. Thompson. But then, it’s O.K., because I’m still so proud of the huge buzz Dr. Paul surely carried forward during the latest GOP debate… and, man, I can’t stop watching that video!

I hope what others have said better will prove to be true: That the sheer brazenness of the party aparatchiks’ and the MSM’s PR attempts to sway public opinion will become so obvious to the rank-and-file before Super Tuesday (or whatever they call it)… to enough thoughtful voters who really give a damn… that, in a divided field, it will spell the difference.

What’s confusing to me is that even hard-core Republican war-mongers are on to FOX – and they just find it oh-so-funny!?! Is that whiff of racism for real? Do these people have any curiosity left? Do they actually read?

“Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people. The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and in the degeneracy of manners and of morals engendered by both. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”

– James Madison, Political Observations, Apr. 20, 1795 in: Letters and Other Writings of James Madison, vol. 4, p. 491 (1865)

I feel like sometimes I’m living in a warfare-welfare-police state now. And the liberals – like their formerly conservative brethren – want to control our lives in the worst way too. As somewhat of an outsider… the mean-spiritedness of many of these party faithful… is palpable… and crazier-than-hell.

It’s been the modern totalitarian dream (control of the many by the very few – liberal, conservative, or not) since before WWII. Today, the American Psychology Association whores work hand-in-hand with the psy-ops boys conducting the experiments that the Madison Avenue hounds use to herd us into compliance and docility. And all of these groups… struggle for legitimacy… and their share of the corporatist pie… in this brave New World Order ahead.

Were our voices being heard on a real-live, honest-to-goodness conservative radio talk show station… like Rush Limbaugh, maybe?

Guess we’ll have to work that much harder!

Thank you Fox News!

I emailed this to Brit Hume:

The way you treated Dr. Paul during the debate has grown our volunteer base and swelled our donations more than you can possibly understand.

I used to think you all surely understood blow back but refused to mention it or acknowledge it because it would hurt support for the war. However, with your ignorant treatment of Ron Paul, I now have come to realize that you truly do not know what blow back is.

Every time you shun him during a debate, more people see your duplicity. Every loaded question you asked, more people realized he is a mental giant and you simply allowed him to prove it.

My parents (I am 24) had not yet been convinced about Ron Paul or your bias. After the debate, they called to tell me that they will now vote for him in the primary and they could not believe how obvious your bias was. My story is not unique.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You have done in one night what I was not able to do in 6 months.

You will continue to see growing support for him. More bumper stickers. More yard signs. More people in the streets. You were the tools that propelled him into the top tier. You better keep calling grandmas with listed phone numbers and no internet access for your “scientific” polls! If people are allowed to volunteer to vote, they choose Ron Paul. He has more straw poll victories than any other candidate and has won every single debate based on popular vote.

If someone other than RP is nominated, consider Hillary the de facto president. Ron Paul’s (genuine) federalist message appeals to independents, third parties, and even democrats. If you think Perot got Bill elected, you ain’t seen nothing yet. If he is run 3rd party, he will pull 10-30% of the vote.
